I chose this song for the album because my wonderful friend and guitar teacher Monte Pittman suggested I work up a version of this on the guitar. It’s truly serendipitous that Annie is one of my best friends and this song was written for her by her husband, John Denver.

The basic track is a single performance, just me and my guitar in front of a nice Neumann microphone.
